Amazon is reportedly making its case to advertisers as it plans to take on YouTube more aggressively. The company is planning to initiate programs that will attract more advertisers by giving them access to more user data like what they watch most.
The online retail giant is also considering linking up advertisers with video producers to create unique content that will appear as advertisement with Amazon getting a cut of the deal. The company has also consulted experts on how to deal with unsuitable content that appears next to ads. YouTube had issues back in March when ads ran alongside Nazi and jihadist content.
