Amazon is redefining e-commerce and the entire online shopping experience for that matter. After having acquired the Whole Foods Market chain of stores, they are putting their resources to work in ensuring that they make the most out of this business decision. You can now choose from over 800 items from the 365 range of products; previously a Whole Foods in house brand; from the AmazonFresh websites or from the AmazonFreshPickup locations.
Amazon has moved to cross selling its unrelated products in their different available platforms. In their newly acquired grocery stores, you will now find Amazon Echo and Eco Dot devices displayed while your attention is drawn to them by banners labeling them as “Pick of the Season” and on heir groceries website and pick up locations, you will now find a mix of brands.
In a bid to make the most out f it and encourage purchases, Amazon has also cut the prices of a number of items in the Whole Foods Market stores. It also plans to integrate items such as meats and produce from Whole Foods to AmazonFresh. It is clearly an exciting time for the Amazon family and customers. Let’s wait and see what comes next. For now, enjoy grocery shopping at the convenience of your home or office for that matter.
