Microsoft Profits Snowflake as a Central Processing Supplier, as some retailers demand Amazon alternatives

Hot enterprise-focused start-up Snowflake Computing on Thursday said it is making its applications on Microsoft’s Azure public cloud. Previously Snowflake, which people may use to shop and run queries on data, just ran over the Amazon cloud.

The growth is a great indication for Microsoft, which lags behind Amazon in the cloud infrastructure enterprise.
