Amazon is taking no chances by grabbing every opportunity it gets to showcase its products and services and CES 2018 is no exception. The major tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Apple have scaled down their participation but not so for the online retail behemoth.
As has been for the last two years, Alexa, Amazon’s seemingly invincible voice technology will take centre stage. The company had a lot to offer in 2016 when it made announcements about integration of voice into products from HomeAdvisor, Whirlpool, Ford and many other companies. Later on in 2017, more than 1,000 new skills were launched for Alexa at the event.
